Did I miss the answer to the question about best product to fill holes?
1994 Godfrey Sweetwater 20' Fishin Cruise.

We used good wood putty for the initial filling, then covered all the top seams and spots with fiberglass resin (epoxy). Short work time (so don't make much at one time) and probably over kill, but hoping it will eliminate any 2 year failure. Sand smooth and put flooring on that thing.

Wow I sure like the bit he used to counter sink. It did a much cleaner job then the one I used.
