Couple questions.

1. Good ideas for some permanent seating? Looking for something small, light and cheap I could find for nothing to bolt to the floor. Like the standard pedestal seats.

2. Steering lineage? What’s on there now is some 2x4 homemade bracket, are those linkages pretty standard? So I could put a “through the tube” style on?

3. Anyone got a goofy-ass helm they don’t want? XD

Update. Had a lot of trouble getting it started, pulled the carb and found it was butchered inside from previous owner.
Got lucky enough to find a new carb, bolted it on and now it starts and runs like a dream.
Broke my steering wheel, brittle plastic, replaced with an eBay wheel for $25.
Found we were in dire need of storage solutions and cup holders.
Went to Walmart, found on of those center console storage trays for old cars, bolted it directly to the helm.
Drilled holes in all the compartments so nothing holds water. This has become my fishing lure tying table.

Everyone else had cup holder issues, went to menards and JUST SO HAPPENED. they have these cold “between the seat” cup holders that I bolted up perfectly to the surrounding cage.
I have $50 vest in cup holders. And they are used heavily. Money well spent!
I also replaced the tire up cables for the winch used for cranking the hitch and axle up, muuuuuch smoother transition now. I can basically get On or off the launch pad faster than anyone else there. I crank it down while waiting in line, have the wife back down when it’s our turn, set it on the ball and done. Go home. 😂 I can be turning onto the highway before most people can back their trailer in.

I also found the gas take looked like crap, so I buzzed over it with a pressure washer and peeed the rest of the paint off, and found some red brake caliper paint cans and went nuts. 4 well placed coats and the gas tank looks like new, and the paint is highly resistant to brake dust and heat. 😂😂😂

I am a loss for words!
Actually, I was gonna send you the chiropractor bill for the upside down pics.
Best of luck with your new project.
You need to put 'Grand Tahoe' as a Mfg name on it (They go for $145,000)
Who cares WHAT it looks like as long as you and your better half are happy, it is safe for both of you and you get to go out and have fun.
THAT is all that counts!

We took it to a Trump boat rally and we had a real hard time keeping up with that little 9.9 at wide open throttle for about two hours 😂
There were so many bots passing us towards the end we were swamping for the last hour. Eventually I gave up trying to steer for the most part. All in good fun.
Hoping to find someone who took a picture of it! Oldest &ugliest toon on the water. Caught a few crappy in the process as well.
