It's fake wicker, the plastic stuff. I'm having cabin screen/canvas(Sunbrella) made in a few weeks, so I will have them make a mooring cover for the bow to cover the furniture when not in use and KEEP THE CATS OFF!. Also ordering a 12x36' carport to park 'er in here at home so hopefully the furniture will last longer.

Curtis, they are so light I thought they would fly out when towing so I had lines running all over the place. Turns out they didn't move so I am going to zip tie the frames together underneath once we have them configured way we want.

On a different note, I felt a ton of water hitting under the floor in the helm area where I was standing when at speed. I think I am going to buy some more sheet and build a double bottom splash shield out to the nose of the center toon. I guess I need to buy that HarborFreight metal Brake for that job.

The wife got more 'BETTER' pic's.....stand by........

Still working on small stuff, wiring for takedown light and lights in cabin roof. After that I am going to build two benches in the cabin that double as cushion storage and beds. A removable table will go between them. Looking for a used commercial sewing machine as I am thinking about doing my own Sunbrella cushions, bolsters and cabin enclosure.

On another note, I accidentally ruined the USCG capacity sticker with stripper. Yesterday morning I sent Tracker Corporate a message asking if any were available to purchase. I did not have high hopes since the boat is 33 years old and the model is out of production for many years. A couple of hours later They responded that they did not make them anymore, so not available for sale. However they had 3 left over from past production and are sending me one free of charge. Tracker, my hats is off to you, excellent customer service....thanks!

Back at it, lakes are almost full. Insulated the underside of the roof with 2" foam board, then used FRP 4x8 sheets for the ceiling. SInce I was working alone I cut the sheets into 24" wide strips and put them up using Stainless self tappers to attach to aluminium roof beams.

FRP( I used tan)

Got a quote from a local upholsterer for $1500 to Sunbrella wall under the entire 8x16' roof. Thats a 2' ish screen strip all the way around with roll up storm flaps. Zippered door in front. Also ordered two aluminium framed chaise loungegs to double as beds in the cabin. I will raise them up so we can have storage bins under them. Sunbrella 3.5" cushions for them are on the way too.

No, the bow(12') is still exposed where to two sofa's are. I am considering a wedge shaped mooring cover to go from the front cabin roof down to the low front railing. If we decide to keep it on the water at a covered slip at least the birds and spiders won't be able to trash it.
