I need to do this trip

The Antique boat club use to set a trip up every year, going from Sanford to Jacksonville or the other way I think they did it in tree days.
You can pick which way you want to go and drop your boat off at that end, drive your truck and trailer to end of the trip, then they had a bus set up to bring you back to your boat.

There is a few hotels on the river and places to eat around Aster, I think I like to do it up to Astor spend the night and head back, Hontoon Island is up that way too, they have camping sites, might be a great place to set up a get together in the future.

If we did that, I would have to show up with my cook wagon and bum a ride with someone seeing the sites

That sounds like a blast! We just sadly took the boat out for the last ride of the season yesterday. That's said if you can get me a doctor's note, I'll head south and you can ride on my boat!!!

I am enjoying it, a lot of people hate it because it is a fun journal type of writing and not a guide and scientific and...and...hell some other big words

That would be kinda depressing to me. But then, as I learned in Montana - snowmobiles are simply winter jet ski's!

I think everyone needs to try snowmobiling at least once. My last sled was a mountain cat and I had a blast on that thing. Plenty of powder here in Michigan when the lake effect fires up!
