In July we sold our 2013 Yamaha AR190 jet boat for $1200 less than we paid for it back in 2013, it sold in 6 hours on Craigslist. We were able to find a 2020 Regency 250 DL3 with a Mercury Verado 300 for a bit over $70k out the door (tax here is 10.5%) but I think we got super lucky. It was the last boat they had in stock and a 4 hour drive from home. There is a "surf boat" dealer near us that sells Supreme, Moomba, MasterCraft, Nautique, etc. They don't sell a boat that costs less than $125k and usually have 40-60 boats in stock, they sold out in about 3 weeks when the weather got nice. Now we have a boat launch full of people with far more money than brains....

I often look at Facebook's pontoon forums, and I have never seen so many late model, high dollar tritoon boats for sale.

I would assume that Payments #2 and #3 are coming up--out of 180 monthly installments. And those monthly payments from October until May are really difficult to come up with.

Good luck to those with boats on the used market right now.
