Search cars.com or Autotrader. All the Ford trucks have 300-400 k miles on original drivetrains, bodies with little or no rust unless it's a plow or salt truck. The 10 cylinder engines almost always have 400k or more miles.

Most of the GMs are 80-100k, "replaced many parts", "buy it please before I torch it" type ads.

Dodges simply dissolve in the rust belt. GM, first it's the 1/4 panels, then the doors, then the fenders. Chinese made chrome bumpers, gone in several years.

Too bad Ford doesn't fix the cam phaser issue with people's trucks that they have to resort to a class action lawsuit.

This is the main reason I sold my 2004 F-150...yes I owned one...wasn't in my wife's name!

Oh look, a link from a blood sucking lawyer's website.

Want me to start posting GM recalls ? Even GM's official "did our Chinese made ignition switch nearly kill you?" Website posts pretty much every GM made since the late 90s as having the deadly ignition switch.

The official GM "fix" ? Replacing the switch. With the same switch.

right... they don't cause the failure... it's lack of lubrication that causes the cam phasers to fail... oil pressure fluctuations and low oil pressure caused by oil pump cavitation from internal wear and failure, etc... if the cam phasers get replaced without verifying the proper oil pressure is present they're gonna fail again... you're wasting someone's money replacing the cam phasers only anyway... if everything checks out and the proper oil pressure is there all of the cam followers have to be replaced along with the phasers... oil pressure has to be above 25 psi to operate the phasers correctly... if engine oil pressure has dropped below 25 psi and killed the cam phasers... that's the least of your worries...

which brings me to another issue... the oil pressure gauge on the Ford 5.4 isn't an actual pressure gauge... when the sender gets >5 psi it triggers the "gauge" to half scale... isn't that awesome... that's a big contributor to the whole problem... so the actual oil pressure can be fluctuating badly from pump cavitation and or worse go way below 25 psi and you will never know it... Thanks Ford... this is just one of many examples (not opinions) of why I don't care for Ford stuff...

Someone actually had the stupidity to marry such a douchebag ? Poor woman.

Tell me more about how you want me to ban our members because they tell you to fuck yourself. Don't do it in a PM, grow some balls. Nothing worse than a coward who has to bring someone's wife into a conversation, yet would get knocked on their ass if they actually had the balls to approach me in person and pull the same bullshit. :thumbsup

Not everyone can afford the best, then there's GM. Government subsidizes every sale to keep them afloat. Last time Ford was in trouble financially was in 1959, been kicking GM's ass since the early 80s.

Post Obama, even Dodge is surpassing them in quality.

Kind of amazing that the site admin talks this way to it's members or anyone for that matter. You do this with your customers when they don't agree with you on things.

Calling members douche bags and pussies is how you keep members? So do your advertisers condone this? I seem to have a pretty good relationship with pontoonstuff with the products I have purchased from them so far. Maybe I will ask them if this is the forum they want to be remaining business partners with.

You need to do a big apology to everyone here.

This is the kind of bullshit this guy was pulling. First he sends me a PM crying he was told to fuck himself after stalking another longtime member's posts.

Brings my wife into this thread, them sends me this:

Just so you know, I am going to be talking to the owners of pontonnstuff today.

I will be suggesting that they remove their sponsorship on the site unless you do a public apology in that thread.

Ball is in your court sport!

My response, go fuck yourself. :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

Fucken eh loyd, you and you're riddles. OK, I'll play along....

Why? Why are Californians all mouthy fuck heads?

So much smog makes a person not think straight?

So many left wingers in that state that common sense is considered crazy?

Can you phrase this in a knock knock joke for us to make this easier?

Lol, it was mostly his messages bitching about being called names and then threatening me that made me dust off the ban hammer. :rofl
