#1 Post by RiverLiver » Fri Mar 17, 2006 12:40 pm

My projects:

- Adding a PowerLadder to the bow. I just got this thing via FEDEX last week and from the looks of it, this is a really great product for the price. Nice heavy duty aluminum constructions... cool factor... and now I get to add another button to my 2 button dashboard.

- MP3,CD, Sattelite radio, and speakers. Finally some tunes for my toon.

-2nd battery and battery selector switch.

What bells and/or whistles are you adding to your boat this year?

As far as beer on tap... That is actually an fairly easy thing to do (I've been brewing and serving my own beer for 7 years now). Keeping it cold is the hard part.

I have a lot to do with mine. I too am adding a power ladder, probably next week! Then I have a list of things, Bimini supports, boat alarm, docking lights, anchor hoist, sink, new prop, porta potti with privacy screen. I hope to have it all done it two weeks! Well I can HOPE can't I?

Hello all!
Just added a couple of bench seats with arm rest for each on the bow and acquired a covered slip last weekend. Look forward now to having both boats within 30 feet of each other. Our sailboat provides us with galley and bunks. It's our bit of real estate on the lake without having to mow the grass. The pontoon provides us with a speedier get away. :D

I have the power ladder and haven't installed it yet because my bow comes to a point and I would have to mount it diagonally across my deck (underneath) and it will interfere with the winch connection ring for winching the boat on the trailer.

Haven't figured out the fix for that yet and I am ashamed to admit it but .... yes I have small 'toons. There I said it , its not a secret anymore! I think the additional weight on the bow may be too much if I have folks sitting up front. The ladder on the stern works for now and I think the power ladder might have to wait till later.

I need to replace my steering and throttle cables soon, don't know if it will be this season or not. I have to finish my front speaker enclosures, rod holders, build an enclosure for the salvaged plastic livewell (and plumb it), find/purchase/install tackle boxes in sides of center console(holes there when I bought the console). Build a table top for the pedestal between the seats. Work on the Bimini top braces, install and wire the dual battery switch I have been storing for a year. HMMMMM any thing else???? The 12volt lighting idea is good, get another anchor for the stern (one that will hold!) , finish replacing the old clearance lights on the trailer , get a new spare rim for the new spare tire that came with the wrong lug pattern :( , check out the carpet on the bunks, etc.,etc.

Give anybody any ideas or reminders??

g8 I have a 22 Tracker and installed a underdeck ladder form crone. I moved my winch hook to the front rail. I also rebuilt my winch stand to have to have a heavier set up when boat is winched tight

G8r, the Power Ladder only weighs about 50lbs. That shouldn't add TOO much weight to the bow.
