Filthy cover

#1 Post by curtiscapk » Fri Apr 20, 2012 7:33 am

THE FLOATER stays down at our place at the lake, It is in the shop right now, waiting for me to pick it up. In the mean time I brought back the cover to clean. I cleaned it the first year we got it, which was three years ago.

It needs it bad! I started on it last night, I wish I would have got a before picture but didn't think about it. I got carried away on the soap and kept scrubbing with a soft bristled push broom and rinsing, I am goiing to attack it again this weekend. These pictures show a huge improvement of how it looked. THE FLOATER stays outside all year under trees with this cover on everytime single day we aren't there.

I thought about using the power sprayer but with the cover being 16 years old it may not take it. In one of the pics you can see the tear from the limb that fell through a couple of seasons ago. my duct tape job has held up well!! I am going to redo it with bergundy tape I saw at Wally's last week. I will finish off with 303 and update the thread with new pics after we get toon next weekend.

The funny thing is if we ever brought it to the city it would take up our whole driveway.

The pics are a little blurry I used my phone and had wet hands...
