Howdy- I used JJV's Best to clean our toons a few weeks ago, followed the directions and I still have streaks on the toons and spots where the JJV's Best splattered on the aluminum trim. So I called JJV"s Best and they said the streaks will go away when the aluminum oxidizes over time. But the spots on the aluminum bug me, so when I called JJV's back they said to wipe the trim with a cloth and JJV's cleaner so I did that it made the spots even worse. I definitely won't be using JJV's next spring,I will acid wash.
Any ideas on removing the spots on our aluminum trim? I tried AC coil cleaner and that didn't work. or should I just let the aluminum trim oxidize with age?
We keep our boat in a wet slip year round and don't own a trailer.
Cheers,
Robert
