spare prop w/nut and cotter pins

+1 on the boat hook as mentioned above, to push off other boats in close quarters while docking, etc. also I've pulled more than a few HATS that guests lost overboard with a hook, even better if ya have a net.

I carry a small toolbox with a few basics like screwdrivers, adjustable wrenchs, pliers, vice grips, hammer, duct/electric tape, and a handful of assorted nuts n' bolts.
You never know when you might come across a disabled boater who can get back home with something you have in the toolbox.

was a first aid kit mentioned?

First aid kit? Sure.

And we take a doctor with us to use it.

I keep a boat key on my truck key ring, and a truck key on my boat key ring.

CURRENT REGISTRATION! Alot of people have the boat registration papers in their tow vehicles, along with the trailer registration. Keep them seperate! Trailer in the truck, boat in the boat!
Hey quadcities! Will be in the 3rd pit or Princeton beach very shortly, will have to have a beer and BS, neighbor!

Yea, two summers ago We were out one evening with some friends & their kids. I took the key out of the ignition and placed it in the cup holder (like I always do). Everyone was having a good ol' time jumping into the lake. Once it got dark and we were ready to head in I went to grab the key and it was gone...... :censored . Once I calmed :scared everyone down, I called my buddy who came out and towed us in. seriously though, you would have thought we were on the Titanic and it was going down by the way everyone reacted!! Anyway NOW I keep spare keys all over the boat. :hammer :hammer
