That's a HUGE building Bryan! I did lose one of my fenders on the 4th weekend... I am sure it was on me though. I need to make sure and crank them down a little more.

Sorry to hear you lost one, just give them a tad bit of a turn on the line, don't need to really crank down on it. I have so many spare bumpers, I'ld be glad to give ya one! Yep, the building is going up really quick now. Wife isn't too happy about the size, but I keep telling her that its going to be outgrown fast and she would have wished I made it bigger, yet. Too bad my 4 loads of fill lime turned out to take 27, now we are going to need an additional 45-50 loads of fill dirt for the back and west side to taper it to the yards elevation. Goodbye jack plate idea for the boat!

Love the building! I have one in the scheming stages right now, trying to figure out size and how to fit it on my wooded lot.

No, I have not seen that forum, but will check it out. This is a Wick Building. 36x56x14. I have 2 overheads in the front, 1 12x12 and a 10x10 which will enter into shop. On the rear I have an opposing 12x12 so I can pull the boat straight through, turn around in the yard and pull back in. The workshop will be 16X30 with 9' ceiling and a mezenine above for storage and air compressors. I'll post updates now and then during the build. So far I have taken down 8 trees for it. 2 more need to go.

Oh no, if you join that forum you'll completely STOP getting anything done at all and we'll never hear from you again. Trust me on this, it's very addicting and will cost you a fortune.

I'm trying to go 40x64x14 with 12x12 doors in front and back to drive through with the trailer, and 1 or 2 10x10's, man door. My Benny is about 35' LOA on the trailer with the motor down, so even 40' is a little tight. You might put radiant tubing in the floor now as it's cheap and you don't have to use them initially if you don't want to. You can use a product called "The Barrier" on top of 6" gravel for insulation and you're all set to insulate walls and ceiling to heat it later.

Tom, thanks for turning me on to the garage forum. I have been learning a lot! I am shopping for my radiant heating system now. Just going to heat the shop. The rest is just storage space for the boat, my Prowler, mowers, father in laws John Deere 60 and grr.....Kids old toys! Do they ever take them to their own houses, now that they are all on their own! My house attic is insulated with toys instead of insulation! Gonna stick them in the mezzanine in the new building so I can put another 12 inches in the attic.

I would still run tubing in the whole slab, just make 2 zones so you can do the shop by itself if you want. The other option is to use a mini split system for the shop only. That way you get AC too

Here's another building update... We have power! She is alive! Waiting for the wainscoting now. It was supposed to be in last week, but still have not seen it. They said Weds (tomorrow) Then the gutters and downs, finish excavation and concrete. Then I can start on the workshop area. Gonna be a fun fall!

Thanks Bryan, they turned out awesome. I will get them installed this holiday weekend and post some pics on my powder coated rails .

Check out the grill mounts in the last photo in the discussion "Grills on the boat. Let's see them." The brackets look strangely like EZ Fenders It may be a new product for you to market!

Those are mine that I made and, if you noticed, they are drilled differently. I did email Bryan to ask him if he had any of his ezfenders that weren't drilled yet so I did have in mind when I made them

Maybe you should try to make and market them. You have a really neat, clean design. You could also adapt them for fishing rod holders. With a 3/8" hole and a knob/screw to tighten, there are lots of possibilities.

Kind of like these, huh? I just made these up last week and got them from the anodizer Monday. That's exactly our plan! This was original design from years ago, just refined to look like the regular Ez's. I'll have them on the website soon. But if anyone wants them now, just message me. I can set you up with some.

I used my TIG but but I would have rather had those.
