Sharkhide is on it's way.

Why do you think I want to raft up next to him?!? I just wanted to make sure my '97 looked as good as it could, next to his new pontoon. And maybe, if I am lucky, his boat will be overloaded and I can accommodate some of his extra passengers. :drool

I have a new batch of women this year, lol. Too bad Canal Days is over, but there's rumors of a Bohemia River raft up in July...

I watched the video, this product looks to be a lot easier than some, what do you think about using this to polish and then cleaning and sealing with sharkhide?

This is what I am going to do, I just have to apply Sharkhide now. I just haven't had the time yet. I will polish it one more time quickly, then sharkhide. I'll let you know how it is. I am in the water, on a mooring all summer, so the sharkhide will be thoroughly tested.

Gords looks like some great stuff.

If you're wanting to follow with Sharkhide, you're work just started. I found getting polished aluminum clean (of black oxide) to be much harder work than the actual polishing. It takes some serious elbow grease, towels and lacquer cleaner to get aluminum clean.

I'm just polishing my boat anytime it gets tarnished.

I used the napa Aluminum Brightener Cleaner. http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/Catal ... 0410678680

It cleaned the pontoons and then I used Gords to polish them
