Console

#1 Post by Heatman » Sun May 18, 2014 2:24 pm

My console/helm had got to looking pretty bad. All the clearcoat was peeling and was turning yellow. I decided to take it out and paint it. Started taking things loose last fall and the weather turned and never finished. Finished taking it out last weekend.

This weekend I got it sanded down, primered and painted. Wish I would have gotten before pics but believe me it was nasty! I guess those 2 years of vocational auto body classes in high school payed off. I am very happy with how it turned out.ImageImageImage

If you buy any spray paint try the cans with this type of sprayer . It sprays a much wider area at a bit lower pressure due to the tip size. . Instead of the typical SMALL high pressure spray you get out of normal cans.

Now I Hope I can figure out to put everything back together.
