So when do we see the step hulls on the Hampton website? I'm itching for a new boat more and more

I think it was your friend Ken's boat with a new designed step Playcraft.

Rally? I'll have to keep my eye open. We keep going back and forth between the 2575 rcw Benny or the manitou 25 extreme. Both with 300's. Even though the playcraft is behind in seating and looks(IMO) I keep looking at the 27 extreme with a 300 too. If the new step makes them that much faster it's going to be a tuff decision.

BTW- photos of the 2015 Xtreme Step Hull I/O.
If you want rear lounge seats the Hampton that went 76mph had them-

I agree, they are good looking boats, but they need to get their interiors up to date. There still in the 80's! Must of bought a huge supply back in 1983!

Make sure they tie a knot on the end so they don't loose them like someone we know! :biggrin2

Yep. Like I said before , looks like my old Arctic Cat race gear with all the flashy colors and checkered flags. Love the boats but the interiors are way too loud .

I know this started as a single outboard thread, and that is one incredible speed for a single. However, Brad's South Bay that ran 114 and then 113 at the LOTO Shootout is still worth mentioning. Just amazing speeds. Thanks to some great friends at LOTO, we got to witness both of those runs over the last couple of years, as well as the Playcraft runs as well.

Brads boat is a great accomplishment. No doubt about it will all the extra engineering that goes into it. But you strap enough hp to anything eventually you will go fast. Imo the single outboard going 76mph is cooler due to them starting to use step technology in the toons. :nana
