Easier tying off at marina?

#1 Post by Wishing » Sun Aug 31, 2014 9:22 pm

Is there anything I can do to make tying up the boat at the marina faster? I'm envisioning attaching carabiners to my ropes, but since two of them tie onto my fence, I think that's probably not a good idea. I keep thinking there has to be a product out there for this.

Does your boat have cleats? If not maybe think about adding them.
My boat only came with front cleats which made tying up a little annoying, I added two cleats to the rear. Now tying up takes less than a minute.

It does not have any cleats. I already have them (ordered a while ago) but have not installed them.

Do you have eyes on the front of each toon and a unbolt in the back that you can use?

I'm not saying let's go kill all the stupid people.. I'm just saying let's remove all the warning labels and let the problem work itself out.
