Great looking rig! Joy has been telling me she would like to retire on Lake Lanier. She is from Athens. I've only seen it once and only from a family members home. What I've seen makes it an easy choice.

Are you docking in a slip or along side a dock? We dock in a slip and the easiest way for me is to just look down the starboard side of the boat and keep as close as I can without hitting. If I have just a little bit of space, I know the port side is fine -- putting a 8'6" boat in a 10' wide slip can be a bit stressful. If you are docking along side a dock, the easiest way I found was to pull up at an angle, tie off a dock line on that front corner, then put the motor in reverse and turn the steering wheel toward the dock. That will pull the back of the boat up to the dock. Just takes practice -- good luck.
