Well, I guess I'll steal my own thread.

Just realized that THIS SEASON, I put 381 hours, and over 2,400 miles on my boat. Hey, that's averaging 6.3 MPH! Not bad.

It has been pretty slow for awhile now. I still get on for a couple of minutes every other day to see if there's anything interesting. Don't have anything relevant to add as haven't been on the boat since labor day. Once school and Sooner Football starts, weekends or even days at the lake are far and few between.
Do have some spring projects I'm going to undertake of which one is getting the girl under skinned. Will be using a combination of UV4000 industrial adhesive and tri lobe thread rollers for attachment. The combination will be double secure and easier than rivets.
Also plan on adding hydraulic steering and adding a new prop.
Going to try to get out one more day before the weather goes to hell to see the leaves turn. Then we will wrap her up for her 3 month winter nap.

I was out fishing on the toon, 61* in November is toasty for Minnesota, sadly it was the last time for the toon this year as I changed the oils on the Suzuki to get it ready for bed :( ......... Plus side I finally cracked 40mph with the 41* water temperature!

I had a weird underskinning idea last week:

Metal roofing panels.
They ought to stand up to the wet, OK, and the force of the water - and they're pretty cheap!

I was out and put about 10 hours on the boat on Lake Havasu last week. That's the longest it has run without an engine failure in a long time.

That's funny as hell in a sick and twisted sort of way....I had to laugh. Seriously , might be time to get rid of that damn Merc if getting 10 hrs without a breakdown is a good thing. Nothin worse than motor issues on a boat. Been there done that. Had enough after the 3rd time. Got that POS back to the marina and trade it for a new one with Yamaha power.
