Lift Recommendations for Tritoon?
I have decided to rent an annual slip for next year and I know nothing about lifts! I have a Harris Tritoon and will be keeping it at a State Park Marina. I would love to hear your recommendations / opinions....I am planning on buying one fairly soon...
1. Used or New? Pros/Cons
2. Brand of Lift?
3. Easy for a newbie to use?
Thanks!!

Tell us more.....
Are there docks there with 4 pilings available to mount to? Or will it require a free standing lift?
Is there electric that is accessible to power an electric lift motor ?

Electricity is available....
Pretty sure pilings as well. I guess one other question would be that I would want a lift that I could take with me....I know it isn't easy, but something that would be removable as well...

Re: Lift Recommendations for Tritoon?
There are ton of different lift manufacturers here in Mid-Mo. Dock Realty - http://www.dockrealty.com/lifts-all-by- ... ?type=boat has a bunch of lifts for sale. Also understand, if a lift does not have a blower, you need to buy one of those as well. Most are used, which may or not be a problem. All of these attach to the dock.
Used lifts typically are not a problem if the air hoses are in decent shape and the blower works. Stay away from any that have galvanized tanks and be wary of any with metal tube attachments that sit in the water. Just understand there is an additional cost to get it to where you are and the installation. If set up for a V-bottom, there will be an additional cost for conversion to a triple tube.
PolyLift is a high end model with EconoLift being the low price option. You should try to find a local company for installation who be available to do any repair work.

HydroHoist boat lift. We've had ours since 2013, excellent. We have their waverunner lifts too. Boatlift.com You can detach it and move it, I suppose.

Mosnowman-
I am also on PDT. I have talked to these guys for my dock. Will use them for dual lifts for my boat and PWC. They are at The Lake of the Ozarks. They said it would be a $200 fee to travel to PDT.

Also, I'm looking at a Harris. Where did you buy yours? You happy with the dealer? with the boat?
Thanks,
ksks

I second the hydrohoist. That's what I had for my Yamaha Jet Boat and that's what I'm getting for my new tritoon.

Good to see another Pomme tooner on here...you can usually find us in the State Park Cove flying my 5'oclock Somewhere Flag almost every summer weekend....we are from Columbia...
I bought my Harris from MarineMax at LOTO due to an impossible to beat price. They are a high volume dealer so you aren't going to get a lot of personal service, but I am very happy with my Harris and the price I got. It was rigged for rough water which I wanted. As far as service I have it stored at Whites Marine at PDT. They do all the servicing and are about half the price of LOTO dealers with service. I have a slip at State Park Marina for now ...looking for land and boat dock at PDT but as you know its almost impossible to find lakeview without restrictions and with a boat slip. I am looking for a place I could keep several family fifth wheels and also put up a finished Morton Building as a bunk house etc. if you know of anything please let me know! In hindsight I would consider checking into Whites for a competitive price on a Bennington. I love both brands... and got a quote on a Q series Bennington from Whites that was a very competitive price ...though I didn't pull the trigger.

Re: Lift Recommendations for Tritoon?
Thanks I appreciate the info.
I will look at MarineMax as an option. Thanks for the lead.
Glad to hear Whites will work on them. We don't have many options in our area. I looked at Bennington but I don't think you can get a 20' with a 150hp, but you can with Harris.
What did you do to rig it for rough water? I'm looking for a tritoon.
I'll keep an eye open, but you're right, dock options are limited.
