150 Opti 4 beep warning

#1 Post by Fritz » Tue May 26, 2009 9:35 am

My 150 optimax keeps giving me a 4 beep warning every couple of minutes. The motor runs great and the rpm restrictor does not kick in. Oil level in both internal and external reservoirs are full. Any suggestions?

My guess at it, but couldn't find anything to back it up

Thanks for the reply. I do not know if you remember me from the other forum. I have been out of commission for awhile and have not been on the forums for awhile.

Hey Fritz welcome home. Friend of mine with 150 Opti had the same issue. Both oil tanks were full and alarm would sound. We unhooked the lines and pushed oil through it and hooked it back up and never went off again. Go Figger that one out

I drained the fuel water filter and topped off the oil in the tank and under the cowling. I do not know which one fixed it but all is good now.
