We live in Knightdale, NC and have a place on Kerr Lake, NC. Love it, nice big lake with 850 miles of shore line and never crowded.

We live near Sheridan, Indiana about 20 minutes north of Indy. We have several lakes we like to go to with Raccoon Lake aka Cecil M. Harden Lake being my favorite.

Randy and Gayle- Yankton, South Dakota- might be about the closet to you. Lewis and Clark Lake, above the last dam on the Missouri- Gavins Point Dam. The only thing separating us is about a half a dozen dams- and quite a few miles!

Colorado Springs, CO...need to be careful where you boat, some areas are just to congested to have a good time. John Martin state park, my favorite so far for a day trip.

My 'toon is on Grand Lake O'The Cherokee's, 1,700 miles of shore line, Northeastern Oklahoma.

I live in Broken Arrow, OK (suburb of Tulsa) an hour and 15 minutes southwest of Grand Lake.

We live in Rochester NY. It is a beautiful area up here. There are a lot of inland lakes to pick from. We also live only 20 minutes from lake Ontario, but we don't usually boat out there. We have our boat on a dock in Cross Lake in central NY, about an hour and a half from home. From there we have acess to the entire NY State Canal System. It's great.
