Hoosier trailer info

Anyone tell me where i can find info on a hoosier trailer the cables on mine are slack and am wondering if there are any lock out pins i am not seeing

yes all they send me is a brochure with how to launch the boat i need to no why the cable is slack

Which model? Round tube or square?
Since you say "cables" I'll assume you have the Classic. It uses several pulleys to lift the frame--even though it's still only one cable weaving through them.
There's a second cable that acts as a safety to prevent the frame & boat from falling to the lowest height if the winch breaks. That one has a hook on it that fits in a loop welded to the main spar. Normal launch & retrieve you don't touch the safety cable--only when you need to lower a boat all the way to the ground.

There are no pins or stops other than the end limits where the axle hits the frame. The sliding frame tubes can get stuck if not maintained & greased regularly. Are your tension springs gone from the rear of the sliding tubes? They help pull (assist) the frame down to lower height when there's no boat weight on top. Replacements are pretty cheap direct from the mfr.

thanks i think the tubes are frozen they don't seem to move
