oil filter???

#1 Post by dr5274 » Tue Jun 27, 2006 9:52 pm

I've just looked all through my outboard manual, and I can't find a reference for a part # for the oil filter. They talk about recommended oil, and even have diagrams on how to change the filter, but I can't find a doggone part #.

This is for a 60hp Bigfoot EFI 4-stroke. Ideas?

Thanks,
David

Call your dealer or e-mail the manufacturer.
Usually your local marine mechanic can give you that info also. Our mechanic is an independent and doesn't sell any boats so he is always very helpful in part #'s and opinions on different motors and boats.

The local West Marine didn't have such a book, as I thought they would. Go figure...
