Just a plain jane Sun Tracker 18ft Bass Buggy with a merc 60ct. Going to be just right for us, will spend some time getting it rigged with a Raymarine Dragonfly Pro 7 and a Minn Kota 68# trollmotor and a modest sound system. Other various goodies. I think if I go with a 55# 12v troll i"ll find myself wishing I had gone 24v. Any tips tricks are appreciated. I would like to catch some of the spring striper and hybrid bite here in central Texas.

Wilkommen! Where do you take/keep the boat? The white bass are aupposedly very good now on the upriver portions at Canyon Lake.

Danke..hopfully in the backyard. Still getting all that worked out. Shakedown will be on lbj, I have resources there in case of problem. Fully intend to chase the whites and stripes on canyon. I need to hurry and get rigged

We are at Cranes Mill Marina. I will be heading out to fish also. My last four times I have caught nothing! Committed to using lures. Of course, I don't need to eat them. Ha!
