Just not right teasing us folks up north like that. My boat still has snow on it!

58 days, 18 hours, and 11 minutes till I hit the water :thumbsup

Oh HELL NO!! LOL!! I guess it's something you become accustomed to. Just hard for me to get my head around living in FL my whole life.

Accustomed to?!! Lived in Boca Raton,FL for 20 years till my wife had the bright idea to move to this arctic wasteland. If it got cold, all I had to due was put on socks.

Hey Pounder, is that fog or remnants of the god awful fires up north that have been burning all week near 281? The last 3 days have been frigin cold! We're in Navarre for another day then back to Lake. We have seen some really nice days here along SW Florida the last week. Here for other stuff, not boating.

You cold weather folks could go this route and boat all year...doesn't get too cold here but a big buddy will keep it in the 60's inside when it's below freezing easily.

EDIT: Fixed the image by attaching and reducing the size. Also, our friend has a great Bennington for sale with rear loungers and cockpit enclosure, not full like ours, in the for sale forum that I posted for them.

That's exactly what we LIVE IN every weekend from May 1st through September 30th. We just have a little buddy, and lots of warm bedding. But seriously, you have to be a hardy soul to sleep on the boat when it's 28 degrees out, and we see that (and snow) often enough, at 7,500 feet elevation on Blue Mesa Reservoir near Gunnison, CO.

I think if we had gone with the entertainer version that had the sink, counter, space for a fridge, etc It would be doable for me to live on the boat, but I don't think my wife or 11 month old would be really happy. I tried to talk her into a houseboat before we bought the house we are in now, but that was a no go...and it was a huge houseboat at a great deal, the problem here is that there are only a couple of Marinas that can accommodate anything over 40 feet so they know they have you by the...well you know. I think the slip rent was well over 1000 per month and had metered power.
