Sorry for the late reply. Ours is a Humminbird 787c2i combo GPS/Fishfinder/ - has depth, water temp, heading and speed. It has Navionics chip sets for regions of U.S. and coastal areas. Got it on sale about 9 years ago. It has a 5" color display. Simply, low cost, does a great job for the 5 state area we boat in. You can get into one of their newer versions for about $300 plus the Navionics map card for your area. I'm sure there are much cheaper options available. IPad or Droid phones have all sorts of options for that stuff now. Others may know better.

Wanted to let everyone know that I fabbed up a bracket to lower the depth sounder by a couple inches (1/2" below the pontoon) and all is working as it should all the way to max WOT/speed of 34 mph...
