Bench drivers seat
I would like a 2 person bench drivers seat.
Anyone know of a source to find one?
the wife hates the fact that there is not a front facing passenger seat.

Guess where I saw it curtiscapk LOL
I liked the idea a lot when I saw yours. I've considered it but I have a different idea or twenty....Why is this so hard to decide. LOL

I wish La-Z-Boy made marine seats!
JL if you're considering a flip-back seat I'd try to spend some time sitting on one first to evaluate. I find them about as comfortable as a church pew. The angles are wrong.

Re: Bench drivers seat
I've got one in my boat now. Was thinking of one on either side with the rebuild. Just so it would be easy to flip the back and fish off the boat. But you bring up a good point. Maybe a small regular seat there makes more sense.
BTW have you seen PS new seat. now that looks sweet.

Re: Bench drivers seat
That looks real nice.
I like my seat fine but i think it's not mounted where it should be... Or is a trade-off.
When seated the reach to the wheel feels right but when i stand the seat is pressing the backs of my knees.
Also when it swivels left the back hits the fence (more precisely the key on my remote), and when swivels right it hits the console.
Seat on my old boat didn't hit anything--but was smaller.
I guess what i need is a track to move the seat fore\aft.
Like they say: the devil's in the details!

Re: Bench drivers seat
I had a bench helm seat and actually found it quite comfortable. On cooler evenings often after the sun went down the Wife often shared it with me. This often as not let to romper room later elsewhere in the boat before we got back to port. Lot of pleasant memories made in that boat.
