Facebook--Pontoon Boat Owners Group

#1 Post by Bamaman » Fri Aug 04, 2017 2:03 pm

The owners group posting on Facebook has really gotten busy. They're most often newer pontoon/tritoon boat owners, and they don't have the experience or technical knowledge of those on this Forum.

Don't be surprised if you see many of them joining PontoonForums.com when they realize where the real sources of information on these specialized boats are lurking on the internet.

Yeah, it's a busy site, but mostly all the same questions because nobody searches anything. How do I clean my toons? How do I clean my seats? Oh, and the best of all.... "how do I get more speed out of my 75hp motor so I can pull a tube?"

Expect to see more of them on this forum--when they find out about how much knowledge is here for the asking.

I was a mod on that channel for a while, most of the people wanting to join it didn't have a pontoon or know what was on, they were trying to set a record for the number of groups they could belong too.

I was a member of PBOG until the blowout with Manitou. It's a good page to follow.
