I posted last week that I was coming back to the pontoon side of boating back from the cruiser scene. I formerly had a 2002 Bennington 2275RL with a 125 Merc. Had Forest Green full enclosure and loved that boat. Wife had been on me for years to get a cruiser with air, big cushy bed, etc. I gave in and sold the boat I built and loved and bought a 30 Carver Santego. Long story short after 1 1/2 years I delivered the Santego to its new owners this weekend. I also went and picked up my new trailer for my next pontoon this weekend.

This Sat. I go on a 350 mile venture each way to the poconos to pick up my next boat.

Then on the 19th I drop it off at my canvas place for a mooring cover and full enclosure to made in black.

Getting just a little excited to be back!

OK, made the 700 mile round trip journey to get her and bring her home yesterday. To be honest, I didnt realize just how dirty and neglected this 37 hour boat is. I have paper work that shows me 3 oil changes from the marina that stored it over the winters, but I think thats where all maint. stopped! I spend today buffing and waxing the fence exterior. I would not be afraid to bet a hundred dollars this is the first wax this boat has seen. My wife spent an hour and a half just cleaning the port front lounge area, totally disgusting! Why do people let their nice new stuff get like that? Not much else I am going to be able to do to it for a while, it gos to the canvas shop Friday for a full enclosure and mooring cover. Will keep all informed of my p[progress
