Has anyone added a Avalon express tube to a pontoon

#1 Post by Crash6882 » Tue Mar 27, 2018 1:14 pm

I have a 25ft sanpan with a 150 suzuki. I use the boat for my oyster grant and also to commercial fish. I have the front stripped and have a small electric crane mounted midship. I get decent speed after the repower but looking to get the bow up more and make it a dryer ride and hopefully a little better in rough weather. I looked at the water glide but all the people seem to say in rough water they r not good.

I was wondering if any one have added a Avalon express tube in front of their motor pod.??

Pretty doubtful anyone has mounted an Avalon express tube.

If the middle tube came off a boat the same lemgth, it might work. I would suggest you to find a new boat with the 3/4 length tube to see how it is mounted before buying and dropping the toon on your boat. The rear of the middle toon is almost touching the front of the motor pod.

Not a "Avalon express tube", but I did ad a Southbay 3/4 center toon on my Southbay pontoon.
It did everything you want and then some.
Very easy install, did it all by myself on a weekend.

Ok I was also looking at the Polly 3rd tube by pontoon wholesale. But haven't found much literature on them. They look like they have lifting strakrs and would be lighter, and would hold up better in salt
