salt away and maintenance

#1 Post by FLOUNDERPOUNDER225 » Tue Mar 27, 2018 5:16 pm

For those salty tooners out there; 2.5 years, at 315 hrs. decided to do my cooling service on my yami f150. I use salt away after every outing, along with rinsing the hose on the flush port while cleaning the boat. the zincs were fine, the thermostat was fine, but we replaced just because of time. water pump normal and replaced. Technician noted he hardly ever sees one in this condition. Use your salt away folks.

Wow, that's the old thermostat? I know what I am using if I ever go to the salt. That is awesome
