New to pontooning

#1 Post by woandwefloatin » Sat Apr 07, 2018 2:42 pm

Hello All, We are selling our deep V Sea Ray and ordered a Sun tracker 22 with 200 Verado, tri toon... We are looking into full camping canvas. Our deep V had it and wanted to know some feed back if any of you have it and what are your tips? We are from Colorado. We usually boat in Lake Powell avg. temps for summer 90-110 Thinking full tinted front and back window clear with sides in screen and roll up canvas.
Looking forward to this new adventure... And NOT having to push the deep V out of the sand when the lake drops .

Enjoy the boat.

Did you know Mercury has a new model 200 out that should be available before you get your're boat. The Verado 200 is a much more complicated motor and actually will weigh more than the new 200 3.4 liter motor. The Verado Will probably cost more also.

Did you check into the new 200? Its under 500 pounds and big displacement. Perfect for a tritoon.
