Is it possible to weld a "tie down" loop onto the front end of my left and right pontoons?
My boat only has a loop on the center 'toon.

Any idea what the cost would be?
over/under 500?
over under 1000?
couple hundred bucks?

I would def. get it TiG welded on, a mig with a spool gun would probably go through the thinner metal

What will these be for? actually tieing down to a trailer? or for dock lines? if dock lines I would through bolt some cleats onto deck

What’s the intended use? Mine has aluminum cleats welded on the tips and Only use them for trailer tie down, and use the deck cleats for the anchor. If your looking for hooking up trailer straps I’d just get a set of stainless u bolts and bolt them on the inside of the front risers. The U bolts like the ones found on the back of runabouts for tie down use. They usually come with a nice stainless backer plate also.
