Good Captain's seat for big guy?

#1 Post by Aluminum Maiden » Thu Jul 05, 2018 10:21 am

Hey Everybody!

I hope everyone is having a great summer so far! I have been laid off, so I am spending a lot more time on the boat. As great as it sounds, some of you probably know that being laid off sucks, even the fun stuff gets boring when you can't stop thinking about the future! Anyway, here's the issue; the captain's chair that came with this boat is frankly a POS. The steering wheel was such a plastic crinkly joke, it was the first thing I replaced with a Boston Wailer wheel. A lot of the things on this boat are cheaply made and that's ok, it's light and its good for fishing, floating around or whatever but cruising not so much. I am 6.2 300 lbs (kinda fat) and am looking for a nice durable seat with arm rests, reclining but don't want to spend a fortune. I'm open to used or aftermarket. I would sure like some opinions. Thanks

I have had this one for 4 years and still just like new. I am also a big guy and this is the seat for you plus you get a members discount.

Yep, that's what I bought. I couldn't wait for a response. Applied the discount too!
