Get a big 'ol glue trap at the hardware store. Cats will come loose after you douse them in olive oil.

But now do I keep our neighborhood Blue Heron off my boat? Big Bird's talons have torn two seats and he ate my captain's chair armrest cover. Progressive will not pay unless an animal gets under a mooring cover.

Daisy bb gun, not powerful enough to hurt, but powerful enough to sting ...one sting and they wont be back...works like a charm on cats, dogs, birds....squirrels we shoot to kill with a pellet gun :biggrin2

Fake owl? Move it every couple of weeks to keep the birds on edge.

zoom650 - I like the glue trap idea. Be sure to set up a camera.

If you can rig the trap, this looks like fun. (not for the cat)

We used massive quantities of mothballs. You do not want to get on your boat and find parts of dead birds, rabbits or such. We had one have a litter of kittens that died when we moved where we kept th boat.
