Let me ask another question while I'm thinking of it.....I have a Cabela's Pro Series Dual Bank Onboard Marine Battery Charger, that I keep plugged in while docked, will my batteries be ok throughout the winter?

The Suntracker that I just traded was 11 years old and still had the original battery.
The only charge it ever got was from the outboard running.
One offseason, it sat for 6 months. Every spring, all I did was turn the key and it fired up every time.
I agree with steve1313 that boat owners worry way too much about their batteries.
