I have a friend who has it and it's pretty cool. Anything you want to know about the motor is available. I plan on putting it on the new boat. I'd like to link it to the in dash screen but last I checked it didn't link with Garmin units. Where are they on sale?
Thanks, Shaun

I added this and it works great. Gives you all the vitals and any error codes. I log all my maintenance I'm doing and the system reminds you as well. Simple install!
Go get it!

I have it for mine, have not used all the features yet. But it gives you real digital data vs the analog tach so for propping your boat it is awesome.
That is a hell of a deal at that price.

Last time I tried using mine the wifi wouldn't stay connected. Haven't been on the boat enough to remember to trouble shoot it. Probably need a call to Mercury support.

I just purchased a new Bennington and it's being built now. I bought a Yamaha F250 to go with it. Does anyone know if Yamaha has a similar product for their outboards. I've tried looking and can't find anything, but would like to have it for my engine. Thanks.

Yamaha has Command Link, which is similar to vessel view, but I don't think they have a mobile component. With Command Link, you can connect the engine to any NMEA 2000 enabled chartplotter. You'll need an interface cable and you'd have to setup a NMEA 2000 network on your boat. I did it to mine last year so I could view engine info on my Simrad chartplotter. I really like it and found the digital info is much more accurate than what I was seeing on my analog gauges.

Thank you Steve. I'll research that for my set-up. Appreciate it.

I also have Yamaha Command Link on my Yamaha 150 and really like it for the detail it provides. I also know it can be added to other devices on certain motors.

It should be the Bluetooth connection to your phone, not wifi. Check that and I hope this helps.

Having it installed on my new sylvan with 115 merc command thrust. The boat is equipped with a 7" Lowrance, but to connect it to that you need the NMea starter kit and interface which is an extra $940. I went with the mobile view, Mercury has them on sale till March 31st for $149. Go to Mercs homepage and in upper header click on promotions and you will find it there. Free shipping too. Taxed to your state!

$940??? That doesn't sound right. The interface cable for my Yamaha was about $60 and the NMEA Starter kit was about $90. That's all I needed to get engine data on my Simrad.

Yup but there is a ?transfer? box which it all must plug into from the motor and then to the Lowrance...that box is about $650. Starter kit was $56, rest was dealer labor to install. For $149 I will stick with vessel view mobile, as I live on a 750 acre lake and that is where the new toon will stay!
