Heading to a new home

#1 Post by Liquid Asset » Sat Apr 06, 2019 2:31 pm

Well I'm happy to have it sold but sad to see it go. My wife listed the boat on Facebook marketplace last night at 10. We had responses in a matter of minutes. The first guy that came to look at it took it for my asking price. By the time he left around 2 this afternoon, there was a list of eleven wanting to see it . I built that boat from the logs up tritoon and all. My daughter (6years old) was crying as it pulled away . We had a ton of good times on this old boat.

Now I wait for delivery of the new one!!! So excited for 175 HP , power assist , sea legs , windshield etc etc lol!!!

Hey, the old boat looks great - that's why it sold fast! Now a new family will enjoy your hard work building it.
Your new boat will create the memories that your daughter will remember most, down the road.
Big and ugly but we love our 1999/2000 Crest II DL with a Yamaha F115

Funny you mentioned " memories" on the new boat. We already have a name and design for the name of the boat. It's the silhouette of a piggy bank with the words "memory bank" inside it. We had discussed all the memories on the old boat last fall when we bought the new one. Knowing we'd have plenty of new memories it hit me. " Memory bank" is a good name lol

I need to get my hands on the boat before I finalize the size of the logo. Yet another fun thing to do!!!
