Carl has had quite a few heart issues over the last year.

I am saddened to hear the news of Carl's death. I never got to meet him face to face, but a few years back I bought a part from him for my son's boat. We spoke on the phone a couple of times during that transaction and then would send private messages back and forth after that. Even though our interactions were few, I kind of got the sense that i knew Carl a little bit.. I can tell you I also knew Carl from the Bennington board and one day several years back the topic was fuel stabilizers... I had just started using a particular product and I posted something about on the bennington board.. A few of the Bennington members kind of got on my case - intimating that I was maybe advertising or pitching the product, which I was not. The next day Carl took my side and told the members that I was just mentioning a product that I used.. It wasn't a big deal but it was nice to know that Carl had my back. again, so sad to hear that he passed away... Rest in peace my friend.

Oh, no! I just saw this and my heart dropped. Carl was a super decent guy. As a Vietnam vet, Carl had a deep love for his country. His passion for pontoon boating was huge. Carl's help on the various pontoon boating forums will be sorely missed. I spoke with Carl a few times about my business and he was so nice to speak with. So sorry for Suzy and the families loss. He will be missed by all of us, here. RIP buddy.....
