#1 Post by Liquid Asset » Sat Jun 01, 2019 6:31 pm

After six months of waiting and a story too long to repeat , we have our new boat! Super excited, shortly after I got it in the garage it poured lol. Hope to take it out tomorrow.

While the boat has no time on it, they did leave it floating in the water for a bit. The dealer did a great job cleaning it but the prop and stainless ladder (someone left it in the down position) looked awful. A little muratic acid and polish made them look better than new!

Ok we made it to the lake! While she's not the 300h.p. speed demon we had last week I'm very happy. With a full tank of fuel, cooler and family on board we got 36 mph. I know that if I dropped the Bimini completely, opened the gate and windshield I could get more but im thrilled! It's so much faster than the old boat and I can't believe how it turns. I feel like him driving a go kart. It's amazing how much better it can carve a turn compared to the 27' loaner boat.

I played with the sea legs and they are cool. We were just at our close to home lake so don't really need them there, just played with them on the shoreline.

Looks great. Especially the last pic that shows what matters most! If you and the family love it, nothing else matters.
