I hope you're prepared to make two of them. I have to have one too!

At least detailed steps to make my own.
For sure - I'll detail the build... I'm now thinking handle bars - so you can steer it with your feet! :nana

I'm pretty sure this thread is the equivalent of us standing around drinking beer while Ron says "Hold my beer and watch this" :lol3

How about some rope and pulleys to steer ?? I remember trying to do that when I was a kid and tried to build a "soap box Derby" car out of 2 x 4's and the wheels I stole off our lawnmower. We lived on a steep hill and I was sure it would work. My best friend and I spent a week building it in secret and were just minutes away from our maiden run down the hill when my mom came home from shopping and saw us. Needless to say, the car never ran down that hill. In hindsight, my mom probably saved our lives, or at least a few broken bones! And that was before we were old enough to be drinking beer! :drink4 :drink4 :thumbsup

Now I'm thinking about a jet drive instead. 290 gallons per minute is a LOT of water... and a flexible hose sure does simplify things, :drink2

Here are some links I saved some time ago. May be some ideas here you might could use. I believe these were all electrical powered. But, hey, you could always put a quiet Honda generator on board to use instead of running down your batteries since you aren’t opposed to having a gasoline motor on your deck.
