How about some rope and pulleys to steer ?? I remember trying to do that when I was a kid and tried to build a "soap box Derby" car out of 2 x 4's and the wheels I stole off our lawnmower. We lived on a steep hill and I was sure it would work. My best friend and I spent a week building it in secret and were just minutes away from our maiden run down the hill when my mom came home from shopping and saw us. Needless to say, the car never ran down that hill. In hindsight, my mom probably saved our lives, or at least a few broken bones! And that was before we were old enough to be drinking beer!RonKMiller wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 7:13 am
For sure - I'll detail the build... I'm now thinking handle bars - so you can steer it with your feet!
!
found it!!!!!!!!!!!curtiscapk wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 11:20 amCRAZY BASTARD RON! You need to show everyone your ride!!!!!!!!!
Just for that I may live stream the maiden run on You Tube! Hmmm, maybe a pay for view lol!!onlybillhere wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 8:23 amI'm pretty sure this thread is the equivalent of us standing around drinking beer while Ron says "Hold my beer and watch this"
Now I'm thinking about a jet drive instead. 290 gallons per minute is a LOT of water... and a flexible hose sure does simplify things, curtiscapk wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 11:29 amfound it!!!!!!!!!!!curtiscapk wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 11:20 amCRAZY BASTARD RON!
