Only 2 beers??? We were 85 and muggy here in Michigan today. We take total advantage of that kind of weather in late September!!!

I’ve got a dump trailer with a similar scissors-type hydraulic cylinder/lift arrangement...and I have the dang-dest time understanding why and how that system is advantaged over a simpler direct-lift cylinder....???? If someone could explain that I’d sure appreciate it.

I can't answer how it's better than direct lift but it is. I have 2 dump trailers . A PJ with scissor lift and a sure trac with 2 direct lift cylinders mounted about 30" off the rear of the box. 4 yards of limestone and that thing really groans until it's lifted a few feet in the air. The scissor lift doesn't seem to work nearly as hard but it's slower. I guess the best setups use the telescopic hydraulic cylinder mounted up front like a real dump truck. Local trailer shop had one last spring and I had never seen it on a dump trailer.
