Demonstration Video Of My Hydrohoist w/ Power Retractable Custom Canopy System Lifting My Tritoon

These videos show my Hydrohoist Side Tie B 7500 LB lift with a custom canopy system in action. I thought you guys might find it interesting.
The reason I went with the Hydrohoist is that I am on a river that has relatively large fluctuations in water level making a conventional boat lift less than ideal. My big hangup with the Hydrohoist is that there is no canopy option. I can only assume the manufacturer does not offer one due to the complexity that a canopy system entails. Unlike freestanding aluminum lifts, the frame of the hoist (Where the canopy must attach to) lowers with the lift. This creates a clearance issue between the boat and the canopy when lowered. On a conventional lift, the canopy would be stationary with only the boat lift cradle descending into the water.
This electric actuator system was my solution.
