I'm not sure if its due to covid, or because they are just that busy but I have had nothing but issues. I had a few items that got back ordered that were not originally disclosed on the website when ordered, one mis-manufactured seat that was supposed to have a replacement sent out that was not. There also seems to be a lack of follow up on anything that I have questions/issues on unless I push for an answer. Based upon the other posts here maybe normally this is not an issue, but I am very frustrated a this point...

Well James just called and was very apologetic. Said they are in fact super busy due to the current state of the world as well as struggling to be staffed with the current sate of the world, which I totally understand from the industry I work in. We talked for a bit and he is/has taken care of my issues right away. I truly appreciate this as customer service these days is a rarity. So while I did have a less than stellar experience to begin with, I am now changing that to match this thread and say yes in fact Pontoon Stuff does rock! Thanks everyone!

I'm in the market for a replacement Bimini top so naturally I went to pontoonstuff.com first. I found they are out of stock in nearly every size, type, and color they make. Is this due to covid-19 or is the company in trouble?
How do you run yourself out of stock on everything?

Hi Guy48065

Thank you for thinking of us first and very I'm sorry to disappoint you with our out of stock status. You are right, we've blown out of most of our inventory and are frantically trying to restock and keep up but our business is very strong. Here's what happened... we always plan on having a certain percentage more inventory than we actually sell for the year in order to keep up with unexpected growth and it usually always works! This year our entire yearly sales basically doubled in 2 months which was something I would never have foreseen. That and the fact that the world shut down production and supply chains got all messed up causing most places to run out of raw materials, etc has just made it worse. I went from thinking it was the end of the world to selling 2,000 bimini's in a month and half, same thing happened with all our furniture. We will be struggling keeping up until mid august to be honest but I just added 40k feet to our existing building and bought another building across the street with 50k feet giving us a total of 150k square feet for next year. So this won't happen again! I know we've let a lot of people down this year by not shipping same day like we usually do and I'll make sure it never happens again.

Thank you for trying to buy from us! :(
