Coors is the twin brother to Miller. Currently Johnnie on the rocks in my hand ( black not blue , I'm not that rich lol). Anyway apparently they did shut some launches down because guys were still running charters ( great lakes fishing) , they were asking them to stop then the decided to call them " guided fishing" and she shut it down. Most charters leave out of Marinas . My opinion is they sell fish sticks at the store, please don't ruin it for the rest of us.... The "man" has shut down both of my jobs so might as well distance with my family on the boat!!!

Update on boating here in the" people's republic of Michigan" . Our furor Gretchen I mean governor shut down power boats. You can sail or paddle that's it..... Apparently too many people enjoyed our first 70 + degree day. I fired up my boat on the hose and it fired instantly as if it had ran the day before! Now it's a waiting game . Between the dictator and the weather the wait is on.....

Went down to open our camper this weekend. Neighbor said DNR and game warden had been giving out warnings to people stopped on the water just by themselves. Governor's order is that vessel must remain underway at all times. Only exception is emergency or anchored to fish. It's horseshit.

Well the boat hasn't been in the water but it sure is clean lol . I've polished everything and the new outer strakes are ready to go on. My buddy is making room in his shop. Funny thing is it's " illegal " to visit him here in Michigan. It won't stop us just waiting for a nice day to sneak it over there. Chance of rain the next couple of days and I have to tow it down some gravel road to get there. I don't want to trash it after all my cleaning lol.

Where are you putting those new strakes? I see you already have then on the outside of the outside logs.

I believe what you are seeing is the nose come brace. The strakes go where that ends and then down the log. There is a piece that goes from that and tappers to the size of the strakes. Those are not in the picture.

Finally took the boat out this weekend on Lake Keowee. The lake was worse than Fourth of July, everyone must be stir crazy plus having the kids out of school.....

Governor's order that all boats must be moving unless anchored to fish, and no beaching/rafting/etc is still in effect but DNR was being pretty chill about it. We saw several boats beached on islands so decided to stop on one of our usual ones as well and let the dogs play. The authorities never stopped by but honestly they probably just had too much water to cover and were probably just cruising the main channel and the main gathering points.

One of the guys I share a dock with said they had been over in one of the main hang out places with two boats tied together and DNR stopped by and was almost apologetic. Said "I really hate doing this but we can't let you sit here like this....unless your fishing." So they went back to the camper to get some poles, returned, tied up (still not allowed) and hung a couple poles off the side. He said they saw DNR circle by again but they saw the poles and didn't stop.

Sunday we rode by one of the parks named Mile Creek a little after noon and I think they need to change the name to Five Mile Creek....because that's about how long the line was to use the boat ramps. Devils Fork is the only launch at Lake Jocassee to the north and it reached full capacity well before noon. That's kinda typical for the middle of the summer but don't think it is for this early. Don't know if they dropped capacity like the SC Parks website stated but it's a 7500 acre lake with normal capacity of 172 trailers and 115 single cars.

Also tragically had three deaths the first weekend the parks opened.
An 18 year old woman fell from Twin Falls just above Lake Keowee on Saturday and died.
On Monday night, a 24 year old man reportedly fell into the water at the base of Whitewater Falls that feeds into Lake Jocassee and has not been found as of Wednesday. A long time member of one of the rescue squads fell from his rope on Tuesday and died during the search.

Been working on mine too but they are always asses trying to stop you LOL, We had a good day of shooting and I love being able to take all I need and the bike too, it was gusty as can be on the way home, the bike would lean into the wind and the trailer didn't care at all, the wind didn't even move it

97 BushTec GENESIS, it was the biggest one they ever made, 27 Cu Ft, thank God the second owner didn't sell it as many wanted to buy just it, he never used it but didn't break them up and kept it in good shape, has a hanging clothes bag so you can even travel with your good suit and it unsnaps so you can carry it in the motel with you.

They aren't cheap but they are made good, and as long as you keep more weight on the nose than the tail you wont know it is there, with air suspension it doesn't bounce at all

Thanks curtiscapk, not bad for 3500 with trailer and bile looks about new, I did put new tires on for 500, LED head, position and driving lights for another 250.

Came with many parts for maintenance, oil and gas filters, timing belts, I put them on as the old one were 23 years old and you don't want one to break or you will lose an engine.

Needed a back up for my truck, with the trailer I have even made service calls on it, but mostly so when I have to give it up for a few days for maintenance now and then keeping it new as I can
