WTB - Center Console pontoon

#1 Post by rwood1 » Wed Apr 29, 2020 10:57 am

I am looking for a center console pontoon. Crest made a Super Fisherman model for a few years back in the early 2000's but they are hard to find. Perfect set up would be 20' - 22' pontoon with a 60 hp four-stroke motor. That 22' Crest weighed in at 2,400# and was rated for 115 hp; the 20' model was rated for 90 hp and weighed around 2,200#. Will 60 hp be under-powered as our lake has a hp limit? I don't need speed as it will be more of a fishing vessel. I just need enough power to move the boat at 15 mph - 18 mph with 3-4 people on board.

thx for any feedback
