New boat

#1 Post by Jake202 » Fri May 08, 2020 6:08 pm

I have debated over the last couple of years to buy a new boat or to just strip mine and redo it. It’s 20 years old and needed new upholstery, carpet and wiring. So finally this week I called my local Bennington dealer and my 21SXL will be here Tuesday. They are having to bring it from their other location. My first tri-toon. Pretty excited.

Nice! The pic looks more burgundy than bright red - like that a lot.

Congratulations... I love that color ( maybe because my Bennington is the same color )... ours is a 10 year old fishing model but I love that layout on your new toon..... Looks like you're going to get it just in time for the boating season.. congrats again.. beautiful rig.

Sweet. Unless you've taken a ride on a tritoon already, you're gonna be surprised by how well it takes the chop compared to the pontoon.
I just wanted to go faster when I upgraded, the ride was a bonus.

I have actually been on a tri toon but everyone that has one loves it. It has a 150hp on it. Should scoot across the lake just fine.

You should expect somewhere in the mid to upper 30 MPH range with that setup.
