FINALLY!!!

#1 Post by ROLAND » Sat May 09, 2020 9:30 pm

Well after about 18 months of non use, and 9 weeks without seeing the grand kids because of the pandemic... I'm happy both droughts have come to an end... my son and his wife brought the babies up to spend our 39th anniversary and mothers day with us.... and while here the kids wanted to take Pappa's boat out.. and it was off to Caddo Lake.... just curious, I wanted to post a few pics like I've done in the past but I kept getting an error message saying the file was too large... there were 3 pics and all together they were 8.40 MB's... and they were jpegs... can someone bring me up to speed on the file size limit and what formats are allowed. Thanks in advance guys.

Dunno about the pic posting but glad you could hit the water. How's the salvinia problem---heard it's pretty bad.

Where did you launch? Back when I lived up there I launched a couple times at the Hwy 43 bridge and once motored all the way to Jefferson--nice trip//

WWIND3... we launched at the bridge in mooringsport, just north of our little town of Blanchard....it's a small ramp, but I like it because the water is 15' deep right off the ramp, plus it sits back in a cove a little bit to help shield you from the wind.. only problem with this launch is there is very limited parking... as for the salvinia, I didn't see any, so I guess it's pretty good...
