Change color of the plastic base of seats

Just had the seat cushions re-done, and changed the color completely. However, neglected to take into account the bottom of the seats. Doesn't look too bad, however, was wondering if anyone has painted\wrapped, etc. the plastic part or base of the seats to a different color.

I wrapped the plastic seat bases in seat vinyl when I did my rebuild, not to change the color but to give it a more 'finished' look.
