I've never used a cordless or 12v vac really worth a ****. Here's a test of several. Since the DeWalt came in last place maybe you can trust it? The Milwaukee was top rated.

And another test, the Milwaukee was top rated.

Someone needs to make a 40v or higher cordless vac.

Ryobi (Home Depot) also makes an 18V version that I have it's worked very well. It's a little bit bigger than some of the others, but it has wheels and is easy to pull around. You can find it on Home Depot's website. I think it's about $110.

I'm not following...
I do use a house upright vac to get the carpet nice & clean after brooming each spring but I've never had a need for a SHOPvac.

Haul a few dogs around. There will even be hair inside the pontoons. Not to mention unload all your stuff on a sandy island and pack it back up etc.

If you can find an older 12 volt Dirt Devil by Royal with the beater bar they are great! Check eBay as I have seen them on there occasionally. I think the correct model # is 08207. I have had a number of conversion vans over the years and swear by this portable vacuum. It’s the best one I have found.

I use either a 110 A/C shop vac or a gas leaf blower to get crap out of the boat.
